🇪🇸 Spain – Digital Skills for Youth

In response to youth unemployment, the EGF has funded a comprehensive vocational training programme in the digital field: web development, cybersecurity, UX design and digital marketing.

Italy-Golden-Visaw

In response to climate challenges and the closure of traditional industries, the EGF supports retraining programmes for sustainable jobs: solar panel maintenance, waste management, organic farming and renewable energy.

To combat the exclusion of homeless and vulnerable people, the EGF funds reuse and recycling workshops run by integration companies. These organisations collect, repair and resell furniture, clothing and IT equipment, while training their employees in logistics, maintenance and sales.

Recruitment is a process of finding and attracting the potential resources for filling up the vacant positions in an organization. It sources the candidates with the abilities and attitude, which are required for achieving the objectives of an organization.

The European Grant Foundation (EGF) Employment Programme funds and supports European initiatives that promote access to employment, vocational training and the creation of sustainable economic activities.
Its aim is to help citizens acquire skills, find work or launch their own professional projects.

The programme is aimed at:

  • Young people who are unemployed or have left the education system,
  • The long-term unemployed,
  • People with disabilities,
  • Workers undergoing retraining,
  • Low-income families,
  • And organisations (NGOs, associations, local authorities, social enterprises) that offer employment projects.

The EGF supports a wide range of employment-related projects, including:

 

  • Training and retraining programmes,
  • Projects promoting integration and support for employment,
  • Local or social entrepreneurship initiatives,
  • Actions promoting equal opportunities and diversity in the labour market,
  • Ecological and digital transition projects related to employment.

To be eligible, a project must:

 

  • Have a clear social or professional objective (employment, training, integration),
  • Be implemented in a European Union country,
  • Respect European values and priorities,
  • Have a measurable impact on beneficiaries,
  • And ensure transparent management of funds.
